CREME DE MENTHE CAKE | |
1 pkg. white cake mix (no pudding) 2 egg whites 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. water 5 tbsp. Creme De Menthe, divided 16 oz. can chocolate fudge frosting 8 oz. Cool Whip Combine cake mix, egg whites, water and 3 tablespoons Creme De Menthe. Beat 2 minutes at high speed, then 1 minute at low speed. Place batter in a greased, floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes until done. Spread all of the frosting on cooled cake. Mix remaining Creme De Menthe (approximately 2 tablespoons) with the Cool Whip (thawed) and spread on top of the frosting. Chill 2 hours before serving. |
