Grate or chop 1/2 head cabbage
1 carrot, grated fine
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
1/4 c. green and red pepper, chopped fine
1/4 c. sugar - sprinkle over cabbage and let set while chopping other ingredients
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper to taste

1/4 c. sweet Heinz's pickle vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 c. mayonnaise
Poppy seeds or caraway seed may be added.

Mix all together and chill. Cover with Saran Wrap.
