POKE CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix 1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla instant pudding 4 eggs 1 c. water 1/4 c. oil 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello (any flavor you like) 1 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water Combine cake mix, pudding mix, 1 cup water, and oil in large bowl. Blend well. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes (electric mixer). Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Meanwhile, dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cold water. Poke holes in warm cake with utility fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Carefully pour Jello over cake. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Frost with whipped cream or serve it with whipped cream individually. |
