SPINACH BALLS | |
2 packages (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach 2 medium-size onions, chopped 6 eggs, unbeaten 2 cups herb-seasoned stuffing mix 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. garlic salt 1/2 teaspoon thyme pepper, to taste Preheat oven to 350°F. Thaw spinach and place in large sieve. Drain spinach thoroughly, squeezing out as much water as possible. Add spinach to remaining ingredients; mix well. Shape mixture into balls the size of walnuts. Bake on greased jelly-roll pan at 350°F for 20 minutes. Serve promptly. Makes about 60 appetizers. Submitted by: Anna Schultz |
