BAKLAVA 
1 pkg. Filo dough (frozen foods)
1 lb. melted butter
1 lb. ground walnuts
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

SYRUP:

2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. lemon juice

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon together. Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Place 4 layers of dough in pan. Brush with butter and sprinkle with nut mixture. Repeat until dough is used up, ending with 4 layers of dough on top.

Syrup: Boil sugar, water and lemon for about 15 to 20 minutes (until thickened). Pour warm syrup on cool baklava. Cut into diamonds.

Cooking time: 25 minutes or golden brown.
