Cut 1 pound American cheese in dice, have ready 1 cup of hot cream sauce, yolks of 3 eggs diluted with a little cream. Put the mixture over the slow fire. Season with pepper and little nutmeg. Cook until cheese forms sticky mass. When cool form into molds, dust with flour, cover with egg and crumbs. Fry in deep fat. |
