PASTEL POUND CAKE 
1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello gelatin (any flavor)
3/4 c. water
1/2 c. salad oil
4 eggs, unbeaten

Empty cake mix into large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Beat 3 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Pour batter into a 10-inch tube pan that is lined on bottom with wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes, then remove from pan and cool on cake rack. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.

NOTE: If other size pans are used, time will have to be adjusted: 13x9x2-inch, or two 9x5x3-inch, 40-45 minutes; two 9-inch layers, 30-35 minutes; two 8-inch pans, 35-40 minutes; 9-inch tube, 55-60 minutes.
