PECAN CRISPIES 
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In mixer bowl, beat butter on medium speed of electric mixer for 30 seconds. Add sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.

Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture and beat until well blended. Stir in pecans. Drop from a teaspoon 2 inches apart unto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until done. Cool about 1 minute before removing to wire rack; cool. Makes about 30.
