MOM'S MAGNIFICENT M&M TOFFEE 
one sleeve saltine crackers (about 35-40)
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
2 cups mini M&Ms

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Spray a cookie pan with non-stick spray or put wax paper down on a cookie sheet (standard size).

Arrange saltine crackers on the cookie sheet with salt side up.

Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil while stirring lightly over medium heat. After it comes to a boil, let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes.

Pour the mixture over the crackers evenly and bake for 5 minutes.

Remove toffee from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Leave it alone for a minute. Then take a spatula and spread chocolate out evenly (If chocolate doesn't spread evenly, return pan to oven for one minute).

After chocolate is spread evenly, sprinkle M&Ms evenly on top.

Refrigerate toffee for two hours. Once set, break into pieces and enjoy!
