Melt 1 stick butter Add 36 marshmallows Bring to boil and boil 1 1/2 minutes. Add teaspoon green food coloring, 1 teaspoon vanilla, peppermint or almond. Add 3 cups cornflakes. Stir well to coat. Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper. Add 3 red candies as berries. Keep "batter" warm as you work the candies. (Easier to handle.) These look just like poinsettia sprays - really nice for decorating cookie displays and for eating too! Makes 24 or more. |
