BLUEBERRY-WALNUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 pt. fresh blueberries
1 c. flour (white)
1 1/2 c. flour (whole wheat)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. veg. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 8 x 4 inch loaf pans (2). Put 1/2 cup sugar over blueberries. Stir together flours, soda and baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Beat eggs in large bowl. Beat in 1/2 cup sugar until thick and creamy. Stir in oil and vanilla.

Add nuts and flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Add blueberry mixture - stir ONLY to combine. Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes until metal skewer comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes BEFORE removing from pans.
