KATE'S CHOCOLATE GATEAU 
3 c. cake flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 1/2 c. ice water

Sift together dry ingredients. Cream sugar, butter and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time while beating. Add melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients, alternating with ice water. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done. Can be made in layer pans, of course.
