BARBECUED BRISKET | |
3 - 3 1/2 lbs. brisket point 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 tsp. garlic salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1. Trim fat from brisket. Combine seasonings and rub on brisket. 2. Wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. 3. When done, open foil and drain liquid. Refrigerate wrapped in foil until cold. Slice across grain. Place in baking dish, pour sauce over and re-bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. SAUCE: 1 c. catsup 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. Wright's Liquid Barbecue Sauce 1/2 - 1 c. water |
