MARY LOUISE'S GOODIE BREAD | |
1/2 c. brown sugar 2 pkgs. dry yeast 4 tsp. salt 4 c. uncooked quick oatmeal 4 1/2 c. warm water 2 c. dried milk 5 tbsp. shortening 1 c. raisins Flour to knead to bread dough consistency. Raise to double. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll out and spread with mixture of 1 1/2 cups sugar, 4 teaspoons cinnamon. Roll up like jelly roll. Raise; bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Makes 4 loaves. |
