MEXICAN SIDE DISH 
1 c. shredded cheese
6-8 inch corn tortillas, torn into 1 inch pieces
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
2 tsp. chopped Jalapeno pepper

Put 1/2 cup cheese in deep 1 quart casserole dish. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave uncovered on High for 7 or 8 minutes, rotating dish one quarter turn once. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand 5 minutes until cheese melts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
