BEACON HILL COOKIES | |
1 c. Bakers semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 egg whites Dash of salt 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 3/4 c. walnuts Melt chocolate chips over hot water. Beat egg whites with salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla and lemon juice. Fold in chocolate and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove immediately. Makes 36 cookies. |
