GRITS CASSEROLE 
4 c. water
1 c. quick grits
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add grits; return to boil. Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add cheese, butter, milk, eggs, and garlic. Stir until cheese is melted; pour into lightly greased 2 quart casserole dish. Bake in oven 1 hour.
