BUTTERSCOTCH OATIES 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) Nestle's butterscotch morsels
3/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sifted flour
2 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. sugar (white granulated)
Dash salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butterscotch morsels and butter and melt over boiling water. Remove from heat. Mix boiling water (2 tablespoons) with baking soda and add to butterscotch mixture. Gradually blend in remaining ingredients. Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
