LYNDA'S BAR B Q BRISKET 
Lg. brisket (not seasoned)
1 bottle liquid smoke
Salt
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Bar B Q Sauce (recipe below)

Night before:

Line roasting pan with foil, with enough to cover top. Salt brisket, pour liquid smoke over brisket. Make sure entire brisket is covered. Cover with foil, let set overnight in refrigerator.

Early next morning:

Drain liquid smoke and season with onion and garlic powder. Cover with foil. Bake 6 hours at 300 degrees. Chill at least 2 hours. Remove all fat, slice and return to roasting pan, cover with Bar B Q Sauce, cover with foil and return to oven for 1 hour at 325 degrees.

SAUCE:

In small saucepan combine:

1 tbsp. liquid smoke
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1 tsp. celery seed
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook until well blended.
