SOUTH OF THE BORDER SALAD 
1 lb. ground meat (beef or turkey)
1 med. onion, diced
1 pkg. taco seasoning
3 c. crushed tortilla chips (Doritos Nacho Cheese preferred)
1/2 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
2 lg. tomatoes, wedged
1 head lettuce, torn
1/2 c. ripe olives, pitted & sliced
8 oz. Italian salad dressing

Brown meat and half the onion; drain. Add seasoning and cook as directed. Cool. In large bowl, combine all other ingredients but chips and dressing. Toss well. Just before serving put cooled meat, chips and dressing on top and toss. You may top with sour cream if desired.
