ABSENT COOK'S STEW | |
2 lb. cubed beef 4 peeled sliced carrots 6 peeled cubed potatoes 2 sliced onions 2 cans tomato soup 1 soup can water 1/4 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. Heinz 57 sauce or Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tsp. salt Pinch of pepper Place cubed beef, carrots, potatoes and onions in large casserole. Combine tomato soup, water, vinegar, Heinz 57 and cornstarch, salt and pepper. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover with lid. Bake at 275 degrees for 5 hours or in slow cooker. |
