PEAR PIE 
1 (9-inch) pie shell, unbaked
1 lg. can pear halves (6 pears)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Place pears face down in pie shell. Blend sugar and butter. Add flour, egg, lemon juice, lemon rind and ginger. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture over pears to cover. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Cool.
