PRIZE - WINNING CHILI 
4-4 1/2 lb. coarse ground beef chuck
2 tbsp. oil
2 lg. cans tomato sauce
2 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. cumin
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
8 oz. water
3 cans kidney beans (fancy red)
1 tsp. Lowry's seasoned salt

Sear meat with oil in covered pan. Drain. Add tomato sauce, onion and garlic powder. Simmered covered for 30 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour, stirring often. Top with Cheddar cheese if desired. Makes 14 servings.
