JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
5 apples
2 tsp. cinnamon

Peel and slice apples. Add cinnamon and sugar and let stand in bowl. In separate bowl, add all dry ingredients.

In still another bowl, mix orange juice, vanilla flavoring, oil and eggs and beat well. Add to dry ingredients and beat well. Pour half of batter in tube pan. Add apples with juice. Pour last half of batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
