LASAGNA (FAST WAY) | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) tomatoes, crushed 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce 1 can (24 oz.) tomato juice cocktail 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. dried oregano 1 tsp. basil 2 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 1 (16 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles, uncooked Brown beef, drain excess fat. Add garlic to beef and stir well. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, vegetable juice cocktail, salt, pepper, spices and onion powder. Simmer 10 minutes. Cover bottom of large pan with a little sauce. Add layer of uncooked noodles, top with layer of cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and sauce. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with lid or foil. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting in squares and serving. |
