POPPY SEED CAKE 
Cream 3 cups sugar and 1 cup Crisco. Add:

6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. almond flavoring
2 tsp. poppy seeds soaked in 1/4 c. milk
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Mix well. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done. While cake is hot turn out on plate and glaze.

ICING:

1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. orange flavoring
1/4 c. orange juice (fresh)
3 tbsp. orange marmalade
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Mix well and glaze cake.
