3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Raisins & nuts (opt.)

Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy. Beat in water, egg and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients. Cover and chill 2 hours.
