1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 c. flour
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. nuts

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand 10 minutes. Add butter and brown sugar, stir until butter melts. Add eggs, cocoa, flour, sugar, soda and salt. Mix well. Stir in half of nuts and chocolate chips. Pour batter into greased 9x13 inch pan. Add remaining chips and nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
