JALAPENO CORNBREAD 
1 1/4 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
3 or 4 finely chopped jalapeno peppers
1 sm. can cream corn
3/4 c. grated cheese
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped onions
3/4 c. oil

Mix together and bake in a greased iron skillet 45 minutes on 350 degrees.
