KERSEY'S TOLL HOUSE COOKIES 
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour sifted with 1 tsp. salt & 1 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (pecans broken in half)
1 c. taco chips (chunks)

Cream butter, shortening and eggs. Add vanilla and sugars. Add flour, salt and soda. Combine chocolate chips, nuts and chips and dust with flour. Stir in nuts and chips. Rub tray with butter wrapper. Drop rounded tablespoonful on tray. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Nine to a sheet.
