1/3 c. shortening
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2-3 tbsp. cold water

Cut shortening into flour and salt until size of small peas. Sprinkle in water until all flour is moistened. Gather pastry into a ball. Roll out, and put in pie plate.
