GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
1 peck green tomatoes
3 green peppers
3 red peppers
3 onions, sliced
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 lbs. sugar
1 qt. weak vinegar

Wash and slice tomatoes and sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight. Drain and cook in weak vinegar until tender. Mix sugar with vinegar; bring to a boil. Add tomatoes and peppers which have been cut up and onions. Bring to a boil and pour into jars.
