NEW ENGLAND BOILED DINNER | |
1 meaty ham bone or 1 (2 lb.) diced ham 1 head cabbage 8 med. peeled potatoes 8 med. peeled carrots 1/2 med. onion, diced 1. Boil ham bone in 4 quart pan until meat is soft. 2. Add potatoes, carrots and onion. Boil until soft. 3. Cut cabbage into wedges and boil until done. For added flavor simmer for 1-1 1/2 hours. |
