5 dozen marshmallows 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 2 c. crushed pineapple, drained 20 maraschino cherries, quartered 1/2 c. milk 1 pt. whipping cream Graham crackers for the bottom crust & to sprinkle on top Melt the marshmallows in the milk; cool. Drain the pineapple and cut nuts and cherries. Whip the cream and fold into the cooled marshmallow mixture. Add the fruit and nuts. Pour into a 9"x13" pan lined with graham cracker crumbs. (Do not grease the pan.) Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the fruit layer. Serve with whipped cream, if desired. The cream can be tinted with cherry juice. |
