PORK PIE | |
2 lb. pork butt 2 onions, chopped 1 pinch cinnamon 1 pinch cloves 4 med. potatoes Salt and pepper Pie crust (recipe follows) Fry pork and onions until meat is almost cooked. Drain off fat. Add seasonings to mixture. Cook and mash potatoes and add to mixture. Once all mixed together place in pie shell and cover. Cook in oven at 350 degrees until golden brown. PIE CRUST: 1 c. Crisco 1/2 c. boiling water 3 c. flour Pinch of salt Pour boiling water over Crisco. Mix well, add flour and salt. Mix and chill for about 1 hour. |
