HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (16 oz.) can green beans, drained (or frozen)
1 can tomato soup, condensed
6 servings instant potatoes, dry
1/2 c. milk, hot (or just enough so the potatoes hold their shape)
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 c. shredded cheese

In a large skillet cook meat and onion until done. Add salt, pepper, beans, and soup. Pour into a greased casserole.

Mix the potatoes, milk, and egg and season. Spoon mound over the meat mixture and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven 25-30 minutes. Serves 4-6.
