RUSSELL'S SWEET POTATO PIE 
1 1/2 c. sifted sugar
1 can sweet potatoes
4 eggs
3 tbsp. melted table fat
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk

Roll out pastry. Line pan. Add sugar to potatoes. Beat eggs until thick and add with fat, molasses, seasonings, and milk to potatoes and stir. Pour potato mixture into pastry lined pans. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 25 more minutes.
