FRUITCAKE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 c. plain flour
4 to 5 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
6 sliced candied pineapple (green)
2 c. candied cherries (red)
3/4 lb. raisins
6 oz. pkg. dates

Cream butter, sugar until fluffy. Add eggs; beat. Then add milk and dry ingredients. Save enough flour to coat fruit. Cut fruit into fine pieces. Mix batter and fruit. Drop by teaspoon. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet, cool and store.
