FUDGE BROWNIES 
2 sticks butter or 1 c. buttered flavor Crisco
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter or Crisco (in microwave for about 1 minute), just to be softened. Mix flour and cocoa together. Blend sugar and butter together. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, nuts, and vanilla. Mixing well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with icing for brownies.

ICING FOR BROWNIES:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. cream
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix sugar, butter, and cream and boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Remove from stove stirring until all chips have been melted. Put on top of hot brownies, then let cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
