TOM AND JERRY BATTER | |
Beat 8 egg whites until foamy. Add 1 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat until stiff. Add 1 pound or 3 cups powdered sugar, little at a time. Beat 8 egg yolks until real pale. Add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 cup powdered sugar a tablespoon at a time. Now mix egg white mixture to egg yolks mix with a fork. Add 1/2 cup hot water, 1 jigger rum and brandy, fill with batter, nutmeg on top. |
