SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE II 
1 stick + 2 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
2 pinches salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda

Cream together 1 stick of butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder. Add sour cream alternately with flour mixture to creamed mixture. Mix together nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 nut mixture add remainder of batter, top with rest of nut mixture. Swirl through batter with knife. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
