EASY DINNER ROLLS | |
1 c. warm water 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 2 tbsp. oil 1 1/4 c. white flour 1 c. whole wheat flour 1. Dissolve yeast in water. 2. Stir in sugar, salt and whole wheat flour 3. Beat with spoon or mixer until smooth. 4. Add egg and oil, blending well. 5. Add flours and stir until smooth. 6. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let dough rise in a warm place about 30 minutes or until double in size. 7. Grease 12 large muffin cups. 8. Stir down the raised dough and spoon it into the muffin cups, filling each half full. 9. Cover with wax paper and allow dough to rise to top of cups (25 minutes). Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from pan when finished baking. |
