BLACKENED CHICKEN PASTA
4 chicken breasts
Blackened Seasoning
2 cups heavy cream
2 tbsp. butter
2 onions, cut to your liking
Salt and pepper, to taste

Slide or dice onions and sauté in frying pan. Add butter and a dash of sugar for a caramelized taste. When onions are cooked and caramelized, add heavy cream and a few dashes of blackened seasoning and let simmer until sauce is thickened.

Coat chicken breasts in blackened seasoning and grill or bake. For grill, set to low and let it cook slowly. For oven bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until done.

Boil water for pasta and cook as directed on package.

Goes best with penne or bowties.

When chicken is done, add to sauce. Simmer for about 5 more minutes. Drain pasta. The sauce can either be served on top of the pasta; we always preferred to mix it all together.

Takes a bit longer to prepare, but is awesome for a nice romantic dinner with sweetie! Great served with everything Italian bread also!
