MANGO BARS 
CRUST:

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut butter into flour and sugar until well blended. Pat mixture into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.

FILLING:

4 cups mashed mangoes
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 tbsp. cornstarch
water

In saucepan cook mangoes, sugar, water and lemon juice until fruit is soft and sugar dissolved. Mix cornstarch with a little water, then add to fruit mixture and continue cooking until mixture is clear. Pour filling over baked crust.

TOPPING:

2 cups oats
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Combine ingredients and sprinkle evenly over filling.

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes more. Cool and cut into bars.
