5 to 6 med. apples and handles
1 lb. caramels
1 tbsp. water

Wash and dry apples, insert handles. Place caramels and water inside deep narrow glass bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Dip apples. Twirl to coat. Place on buttered wax paper. If caramel mixture gets stiff microwave for another 20 seconds.
