BLACKBERRY CAKE 
4 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. fresh or frozen blackberries

Grease and flour 10 inch fluted pan. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In mixer bowl beat butter 30 seconds. Add sugar, vanilla, and beat. Add eggs, one at a time, beat after each. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk to beaten mixture, beat until all combine. Fold in blackberries. Turn into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until done. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan.

GLAZE: Make glaze from powdered sugar, butter, and water, then puree about 3/4 to 1 cup blackberries. Add to glaze and top cake.
