CHERRY OPERA FUDGE 
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. milk
1 pkg. Betty Crocker creamy white frosting mix
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. candied cherry halves

Butter 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. In top of double boiler, melt butter in milk. Stir in frosting mix (dry) until smooth. Heat over rapidly boiling water 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in nuts and cherries. Spread mixture evenly in pan. Let stand until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares. Makes 32 squares.
