CREME FILLED CHOCOLATE SANDWICH
COOKIES
 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus dark chocolate mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten slightly

FILLING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all cookie ingredients and mix well. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-13 minutes or until set. Let cool 1 minute. Remove from cookie sheet.

FILLING: Combine 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, shortening, vanilla, and egg white. Add the remaining sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy. Spread between cookies. Makes 24 sandwich cookies.
