APRICOT SALAD | |
1 #2 can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. sugar 1 (3 oz.) box apricot Jello 1 (8 oz.) creamed cheese 1 c. ice water 1 sm. carton Cool Whip or 1 pkg. Dream Whip Mix pineapple and sugar; bring to boil. Add softened cream cheese and Jello. Mix well. Add ice water. Set aside to cool. When thickened, fold in Cool Whip or Dream Whip (made according to package directions). Refrigerate. Serve when set. Note: Stir the cream cheese to soften and add a little of the liquid at a time to mix the cheese in well. I prefer Dream Whip. |
