BANANA PUDDING 
5 1/2 c. milk (slightly less if you like thick pudding)
3 boxes vanilla instant pudding
8 oz. sour cream
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1 box vanilla wafers or pecan sandies
8 bananas, sliced

Mix pudding with milk. Allow to set up. Add sour cream and 1/2 of Cool Whip and mix well. In pan place a layer of wafers, a layer of bananas, a layer of pudding mixture. Repeat layers until all is used. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Crumble 2 or 3 vanilla wafers until very fine. Sprinkle on top.
